Story, ritual, and the return of the Oracle

At the Academy of Oracle Arts—our school of sacred sciences, mystical arts, and mystery studies—we gather as a living temple of practice: a gathering place for oracular consciousness where ancient technologies are woven into everyday life in service to the web of relations.

Meet Annette

“I’m Annette Assmy. My path began with images and stories—studying Experimental Media in Berlin and Creative Documentary Film in Barcelona; working on film sets; directing documentaries and short fiction; performing on stages; traveling and listening across cultures. Storytelling has always been my gateway into the deeper worlds.”

For over thirteen years, a second path has walked beside the first: the shamanic way. Annette trained with Alberto Villoldo and with Indigenous teachers—Andean paqos, Mayan and Toltec wisdom keepers—receiving initiation as a Pampamesayok (Earthkeeper). Dreamwork with Robert Moss opened wider gates, teaching that dreaming is travel, healing, direct experience. Those currents led her into the Western Mysteries through her apprenticeship at the Academy of Oracle Arts.

Her pilgrimages—to Egypt, Mexico, the South of France, Asia, and Africa—confirmed a living truth: ancient civilizations have not vanished; their knowledge remains available to those willing to follow the trail. From this ground she founded the Mystery School of the Soul, bringing art and spirituality together through immersive, performative, ritual work—especially Dream Sanctuary, created with many artists in Berlin. She believes the future of art is co‑creative and collaborative, where the ancient and the modern meet in a shared field.

Everything Annette does—film, ritual, dreaming, healing, teaching—serves one purpose: to help people step into deeper memory, make space for real connection, and keep alive the threads that tie us to Earth, to one another, and to the unseen worlds that want to speak. This is the heart of our path: cultivating a fluid relationship with the Divine that informs how we live, create, and serve.

The Call to Apprenticeship

For years, Annette practiced improvisation theatre, quietly searching for a mentor who held theatre as transformation, not performance alone. The spark arrived through Isis Indryia’s work and, especially, the Oracle Divination Board. During the pandemic years she took the introductory course and felt an unmistakable recognition. Over the next two years the pull intensified until she wrote to ask if there was a deeper path of study. There was.

In 2023, Annette entered the Divination Cohort—not realizing at first that it connected to a larger apprenticeship. Becoming a certified Diviner changed everything. Continuing into Apprenticeship I, she felt called beyond technique toward Oracle Consciousness itself, with a special draw to Kemetic Rituals that seemed to speak directly to places within her that had been waiting for this work.

How the Path Is Shaping Her

“This apprenticeship opened a doorway I didn’t know how to name,” Annette shares. “I feel connected to Oracle Consciousness in a way that is intimate, direct, and alive.”

• Remembrance: Memories surfaced: the knowing that she has been an Oracle before—and the grief of voices once silenced.

• Retrieval: The work now is bringing back the voices of oracles in the world and the oracle within, restoring the Divine Feminine not as an idea, but as a living presence that speaks through intuition, ritual, and the unseen.

• Trust: She is learning to walk inside the Mysteries, following guidance even when the path is not visible. Each surrender meets the right message at the right moment.

Edges & Rewards on the Journey

One real edge has been distance. Living in Europe while most immersions unfold in a different time zone meant long nights and fatigue, especially alongside a full work schedule. In the second year, the distance felt stronger. Annette had to remind herself—again and again—that even off‑camera, she remained held in the same field, part of the same circle.

What proved most meaningful? The teachings and transmissions themselves—how they keep reshaping her inner life. The connection to Oracle Consciousness now guides how she walks, listens, and creates, regardless of distance.

The teachings of Kemet—its rituals and symbols, and the remembrance carried in the body—felt like a direct transmission from another time, awakening a memory beneath language. Guidance from Isis and Marza has been formative: the way they hold the Mysteries and the clarity of their transmissions let the intelligence of Oracle Consciousness come alive in practical, embodied ways.
