AOA Apprentice Spotlight: Myiesha — Color as Prayer, Cloth as Altar
Textile artist • channel & automatic writer • apprentice of devotion
At the Academy of Oracle Arts—our gathering place for oracular consciousness and a school devoted to sacred sciences, mystical arts, and mystery studies—we honor apprentices who turn daily life into living ritual and service to the web of relations. In this spirit, we’re honored to share Myiesha’s path—where dye meets divination, and vibrant color becomes a language of soul.
Meet Myiesha

“My name is Myiesha and I love color, life, and the journey of spirit.”
Professionally, Myiesha’s palette lives in the textile world, with a special devotion to Indonesian batik—a practice where wax, dye, cloth, and time conspire to make story visible. Personally and spiritually, she is a clear, direct channel whose pen has been practicing automatic writing for over twenty years. For a long season, she tried to tuck away the visions and “downloads” to fit a version of “normal.” The turning point arrived when she chose to stop denying the truth of her gifts and own them fully.
Today, her work braids creative craft with oracular practice. She is actively studying to harness her medicine and technology—not as abstraction, but as tools that help people find their way back to themselves. Color, cloth, and clarity of message—this is the loom on which she weaves service.
The Call to Apprenticeship

The call came as a nudge that became a knock—then a loving shake. During her third annual reading with Chrissy (App 2), Myiesha heard the question that crystallized everything:
“When are you going to stop messing around and get into this?!”
She laughed, squirmed—and listened. Within a day or two, she applied and was accepted before February 14, 2025. What she’d practiced, researched, and wrestled with for years now had a home, a lineage, and a living community to grow within.
How the Path Is Shaping Her
“It’s hard to describe what this experience has done for me,” she writes. We hear it between the lines: belonging.
- Personally: Finding a circle of like‑minded, like‑spirited kin replaced the old feeling of being “alone and untethered.” In a family line where gifted women were often labeled “crazy,” Myiesha is choosing to break the chain—to name her gifts, heal ancestral trauma, and stand in her right mind and right medicine.
- Creatively: Her artistry and oracular work are no longer separate tracks; color is a prayer, and the studio is a temple of process.
- Spiritually: The apprenticeship gave her practices and protection to hear clearly and carry responsibly—grounding, discernment, and spiritual protection have been game‑changing.
- Professionally: She feels stronger in her gifts and more open to receive. The timing, synchronicities, and teachings have aligned into a felt inner authority.
“I’m gathering ingredients to cook something that will feed people spiritually. I can’t wait to make my offerings official as I continue to learn and develop.”
Edges & Rewards on the Journey

The Edge: Balance.
Career, relationships, research, ritual—everything shifted after Day 1. There was a real risk of information saturation, so she learned to honor seasonal needs, pace herself, and tend rest to prevent burnout.
The Reward: Coherence.
The teachings keep landing right on time. With each practice, her gifts feel steadier; with each synchronicity, her trust widens. She is readying a table that will nourish many.
Teachers & Moments That Landed
- Isis, Alexis, and Natasha, and the pillar calls—anchors she looks forward to each cycle.
- The immersions—“so unreal,” alive with the magic of shared ritual and study.
- A daily triad of grounding, discernment, and protection—the practices that made everything else safer and clearer to carry.
As a school, we recognize these as essential oracular technologies—ritual tools that help us balance will and surrender, refine perception, and serve with integrity.
Her Medicine, In Practice
- Textile & Batik Arts: translating prayer into pattern; honoring Indonesian craft lineages through respectful making.
- Automatic Writing & Channeling: two decades of pen‑to‑presence, offering messages with clarity and care.
- Divination & Shadow‑Work Support: guiding seekers through the underworlds of healing with compassion and directness.
- Foundational Rituals: grounding, protection, and discernment as daily ritual technologies.
Each strand serves one purpose: help people remember, and help that remembering ripple outward—into families, communities, and the wider web of relations.
Wisdom for Future Apprentices
Be comfortable being uncomfortable.
As you shed what the world told you to be, you step into truth and freedom.
Your feelings matter. You are not alone here.
Let yourself be vulnerable; give yourself permission to explore.
This work will change you—for the better—and you won’t want to go back.
We echo this invitation. If you feel the tug, step into the circle with us. We are a living temple of study and service—a place where color, craft, and consciousness meet to bless the world.
AOA Apprentice Spotlight is an ongoing series honoring apprentices whose lives are living temples—where practice becomes prayer, and community becomes home.
